Job Description

Our client is a well-established law firm based in Dubai specializing in corporate and individual legal matters.

As part of their growth, we are recruiting a qualified lawyer specializing in DIFC company formation and corporate and commercial law gained from a well-reputed UAE based law firm.

The role requires candidates to develop new business opportunities through their network.

Candidates must have UAE DED mainland and free zone company formation and business setup experience, including Dubai International Financial Centre and Abu Dhabi Global Market foundation set up.

Role Summary

Advice local and foreign investment clients on the legalities pertaining to UAE company and foundation formation.
Draft and negotiate contracts for shareholders, branches, partnerships, JVs, startups and non-compete and confidentiality agreements.
Advice clients on matters related to legacy planning, wealth and asset structuring, Prescribed Scope Companies, ADGM SPVs
New business development through networking and following up on leads.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

8+ years’ PQE in corporate and commercial law with a minimum of 3 years’ UAE law firm experience in UAE mainland company formation; establishing new businesses in the UAE for foundations, LLCs, foreign branch and representative offices.
Strong experience in ADGM, DED, JAFZA, DIFC and DMCC company formation and related documentation including Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Association and Memorandum of Undertaking, NDAs, shareholder agreements, construction and real estate contracts and incorporation procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Law – LLB (Hons) Law – preference will be given to candidates who have a UK law degree.
Candidates must have passed their bar exam.

Candidate Profile

Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live in Dubai.
Ability to develop and foster long-term client relationships to proactively grow the practice to generate incremental revenue.
Outgoing personality with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation.
Entrepreneurial with a drive to grow professionally.
Native English speaking.
