Job Description
Our client a leading Oil & Gas organization having various projects onshore and offshore is looking for Designers - Electrical for the Abu Dhabi location. Its an Onshore project - Layout Project. · Draft working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications or cross-sections of underground cables, as required for instructions to installation crew.
· Assemble documentation packages and produce drawing sets which are checked by an engineer or an architect.
· Review completed construction drawings and cost estimates for accuracy and conformity to standards and regulations.
· Evaluate designs or specifications to ensure quality.
· Confer with engineering staff and other personnel to resolve problems.
· Confer with other personnel to resolve design or operational problems.
· Measure factors that affect installation and arrangement of equipment, such as distances to be spanned by wire and cable.
· Design electrical systems, such as lighting systems.
· Design electrical equipment or systems.
· Draw master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions.
· Study work order requests to determine the type of service, such as lighting or power, demanded by installation.
· Review technical documents to plan work.
· Determine the order of work and the method of presentation, such as orthographic or isometric drawing.
· Visit proposed installation sites and draw rough sketches of location.Requirements
· Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
· Experience in FEED, Brownfield, concept, and detailed design.
· SP3D / PDS / AutoCAD experience must.
· Experience in Site Survey Activities and techniques
· Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
· Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
· Should have worked on ADNOC projects would be an added advantage.
· Exposure to Instrument and Electrical standards are a must.
· Nationality - Any.
