Role: Establishes and manages the enterprise data architecture practice including framework, standards and guidelines for data. Ensures that the respective data technology elements and components are interlinked, and all aligned with organization strategy objectives and corporate governance principles. Responsibilities Strategy/Governance Develop and maintain the architectural vision and the strategic technology planning and ensure that the respective data elements are interlinked, and all aligned with organization strategy objectives and corporate governance principles Operational · Establishes and manages the enterprise architecture practice including framework, standards and guidelines encompassing: · Develops and maintains the enterprise blueprint for data · Organizes data at the macro level, micro level or data models for new systems or business needs. · Provides a logical data model as a standard for the golden source and for consuming applications to adopt and inherit. · Provides a logical data model with elements and business rules needed for the creation of the data and enforce the data quality rules. · Ensures technology governance as per the EA standards by contributing in the development, review and enforcement of enterprise architecture policies, standards and procedures in coordination with other functions and business units. · Manages and maintains a holistic view of the organization used technologies for data. · Manages the development of architecture transition using capability based-planning techniques or other well-known techniques to achieve the to-be state, in cooperation with projects portfolio management and strategy and planning units. · Identifies and drives opportunities to simplify and leverage the existing tools/assets and resources across IT. · Develops and maintains Data Model - reference architecture for all related services and systems. · Promotes the use of shared architecture components and systems to reduce costs, reduce implementation time and improve information flow between various systems. · Participates in and effectively contributes to the efforts of researching, studying, evaluating, and contributing to RFI/RFP/RFQ content and technical requirements. · Manages the transformation and change management planning for data architecture vision components and target state architecture. · Participates and effectively contributes to the portfolio management. · Participates and effectively contributes to the benefits realization measurement and management process for GIT. · Participates and effectively contributes to the identification of real and potential risks emerging from organizational structure or process changes, technologies, or new activities to appropriately devise strategies that turn these risks into opportunities. · Explores new and emerging technologies to create strategies to adopt these technologies and position GIT as an enabler to business units. · Participates in the development and review of GIT’s KPIs and targets in line with the developed technology strategy. Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships and working collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders and customers to achieve objectives Education · Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering from a recognized university. · Master’s Degree is preferable. · Professional Architect Certificate, such as: TOGAF · Preferred professional certifications: (e.g. CDMP, PMP, COBIT, ITIL Experience · 10+ years of Information Technology experience. · 2+ years of relevant working experience. · Working experience in multiple industries (e.g., Aviation / Banking / Government) is preferable. · Working experience in enterprise data architecture management. · Working experience in developing technology strategies and roadmaps. · Excellent knowledge of data management frameworks with hands on experience in various methods: (e.g. DAMA, Enterprise Data Modeling…) · Good knowledge in project management methodologyRequirements
