Job Description

Our client is looking for a technically savvy Data Analyst who would lead the development and automation of data collection processes and transform large raw data into clean and insightful reports to support business decision-making. The overall objective is to enable diagnostic evaluation by turning loads of data and numbers into meaningful and digestible stores.

Other responsibilities will include: but are not limited to:

Collect, Cleanse, and understand data from various sources to enable proper analytical insights for internal consumption.
Acquire a deep understanding of business drivers and problems and translate them into an appropriate medium such as charts, graphs, tables, and other visual tools.
Work closely with the finance, growth, and revenue teams to understand the data-analysis requirements, produce meaningful analytical reports and dashboards to enable business units to make informed decisions based on various facts and trends.
Use descriptive analytics to conduct deep dive and root cause analysis to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and create a shared understanding of insights with multiple stakeholders
Design and Build advanced visualization tools that will simplify the outputs of the models, to be integrated into a self-service operational model across different business units.
Lead and Assist in the automation of repetitive reporting requirements
Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in e.g. MS Access and Excel
Data Collection and entry as needed
Strong knowledge and experience with writing complex SQL queries
Strong knowledge and experience with data models and structures
Strong knowledge and experience with both structured and unstructured data
Strong knowledge and experience with ETL

Requirements

Analytical mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Minimum experience in data analytics experience for 5+ years. Should have experience in Oil & Gas or Rental Equipment Industry.
Should have working proficiency in Tableau, Power Bi, or any other BI tools
Should have working proficiency in conducting analysis and sharing insights and excellent attention to details and work with the highest level of accuracy.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to handle high data volumes
Good written and spoken English
