Our client is a well-established food trading company and we are hiring a UAE experienced credit controller / accounts receivables to join their Dubai head office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of outstanding and overdue payments and that bad debt write-offs are minimized to achieve past due reductions and DSO targets. Role Summary Evaluate new credit requests and conduct client credit checks; obtain commercial credit reports for new customers and recommend credit limits based on their credit risk evaluation. Manage the sales ledger, prepare aging and month-end accounts receivables reports on debtors ledger and be accountable for working capital. Collaborate with sales team and customers for cash and cheque collections, aged debt, default payment escalations, AFDA and dispute resolutions. Prepare customer statements and accurate monthly credit control aging reports; respond to customer enquiries regarding their outstanding payments. Upload invoices onto customer portals and ensure they are accepted and processed for payment. Minimize bad debt write-offs and ensure all are subject to correct authorization and sign off process.
