To provide legal advice and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks for the group of companies;
Handle corporate and legal matters with an emphasis on legal matters, and responsible for the management of legal administration and matters in all aspects of the legal performance of the group of companies such as: conveyancing, corporate, advisory, litigation, insurance, contract related matters, tribunal/dispute resolution and any other procedures related to any claims;
Develop the Group’s legal and compliance framework through risk management and legal implications;
To provide legal advice and support to the Group management in all legal, matters, such as litigations, contractual disputes, employment disputes, and participate in any due diligence procedures in the course of business investment, analysing the documentation and drafting the necessary reports;
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of any contracts and agreements and other legal documents for various requirement of the including assistance for the extension, amendment or termination of such contracts. Advise on any contracts and agreements to be entered into by the group of companies and its companies in various jurisdictions;
To perform legal research and to keep abreast of applicable laws relating to the companies’ operations and advice on the impact of such changes on operations;
Manage exposure of the Group of companies’ legal risks and enhance their commercial and other interests in accordance with local statutory requirements.
Requirements
Law degree and qualified to practice
Broad spectrum of experience in commercial agreements and transactions.
Able to handle disputes, claims and corporate secretarial duties.
Able to provide relevant stakeholders with accurate and timely legal advice and information. Team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Possess well-developed skills in negotiations.
Strong business acumen and able to partner business unites to achieve desired results.
