Job Description

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a renowned University in the UAE. Our client is hiring for a Content and Communication Specialist who will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive communication and fundraising strategies that support institutional advancement goals. Reporting directly to the Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, this role demands a strategic thinker with outstanding communication skills and a strong background in integrated communications.

- Design and implement a cohesive, multi-channel communication strategy to engage donors and alumni.

- Ensure consistent, positive representation of the institution to external stakeholders across all communication channels.

- Collaborate closely with the strategic communication team to ensure alignment and amplify key messages.

- Actively participate in multimedia and live-streaming events related to fundraising and donor engagement.

- Coordinate with leadership, academic departments, and development teams to align communication strategies with fundraising goals.

- Conduct market research to support donor engagement and enhance campaign effectiveness.

- Analyze communication trends and provide recommendations to improve donor targeting and segmentation.

- Assist in preparing customized fundraising proposals and campaign materials.

- Support the Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs with administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategic communications, ideally within an educational or non-profit environment.

- Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with exceptional written communication skills in both languages.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex information into compelling messaging.

- Project management expertise with experience coordinating multi-faceted campaigns.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Demonstrated success in creating and implementing integrated communications plans.

- Proficiency in digital media, content development, and communication platforms.

- Familiarity with fundraising principles and practices is a plus.
