Job Description

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a group of companies in Qatar. Our client is looking for a professional and analytical compliance officer to ensure that the company functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals.

You will be responsible for

- Developing and implementing an effective legal compliance program

- Draft and revise company policies

- Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses

- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals

- Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports

- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations

- Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks

- Assess company operations to determine compliance risk

- Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes

Requirements

- Proven work experience as a compliance officer

- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field

- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail

- Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML)

- Familiar with industry practices and professional standards
