Job Description
‒ Assist in food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and peeling ingredients. ‒ Execute cooking tasks under the guidance of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef. ‒ Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, including equipment and workstations. ‒ Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food storage practices. ‒ Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations. ‒ Communicate effectively within the kitchen team to coordinate tasks. ‒ Support the maintenance of inventory and report shortages as needed. ‒ Contribute to food presentation and portion control. ‒ Always comply with safety and hygiene standards. Qualifications and Experience: ‒ Culinary school diploma or relevant culinary training is a plus. ‒ Prior experience as a kitchen helper or equivalent culinary role is beneficial. ‒ Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
