Job Description
Are you a skilled baker with a love for teaching and shaping the next generation of bread artisans? A renowned culinary training center in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Baking Instructor to lead practical, hands-on classes in artisan bread and dough preparation. If you thrive in a flour-filled environment and enjoy sharing your passion for baking, this opportunity is made for you! Deliver engaging and practical bread-making and baking classes to aspiring chefs and culinary enthusiasts. Develop lesson plans, demos, and class materials in alignment with the course curriculum. Teach a wide range of baking techniques, including: Artisan breads Laminated doughs (e.g., croissants, Danish) Enriched doughs (e.g., brioche) Fermentation and sourdough techniques Monitor and evaluate students' progress, offering constructive feedback and mentorship. Maintain a clean, professional, and food-safe learning environment. Stay updated on global baking trends and bring innovative techniques into the classroom. Professional baking experience, preferably in artisan or high-volume baking operations. Prior experience in training, mentoring, or culinary instruction is highly valued. A culinary degree or baking/patisserie certification (e.g., City & Guilds, ICCA, or equivalent) is preferred. Excellent communication skills with an encouraging and approachable teaching style. Passionate about bread, baking science, and empowering new talent. Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi, working 5 days per week on-site.
