Job Description

ITP Media Group reaches an audience of more than 104.6 million people across the Middle East and beyond through its leading websites, portals, social media platforms, events, conferences, award ceremonies, magazines, books and social media influences agency.

We’re seeking a reporter keen to work on a B2B magazine, creating content across print and digital platforms for Construction Week Middle East. The reporter produces content that informs and inspires an audience of industry professionals that rely on the magazine for the latest industry news, insight, and analysis.

Construction Week Middle East is part of the Energy & Construction group, which covers everything from the oil and gas sector to construction, interior design, and architecture, spanning major business verticals through 11 brands that communicate with their own unique voice and style. This is an exciting opportunity for a journalist seeking a fast-paced work environment at a major publishing house.

Requirements

As a reporter, you will:

Source and write news stories/ features/ opinion pieces
Research and interview key industry figures to deliver accurate content
Write daily web stories with corresponding social media posts
Cover conferences and report on industry events
Build strong contacts within the industry and develop an expertise of the market

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have strong writing skills
Have deep knowledge of journalistic best practices in print and online
Have a strong ability to produce videos and podcasts
Have an understanding of the magazine design and publishing process
Be able to multitask
Work on a deadline
Understand design for both print and digital
Be familiar with Adobe InDesign
Take an interest in the construction sector, which you will cover
