Job Description

Our client is a multinational manufacturer of heavy vehicles. The are currently recruiting a native French Speaker having 5-10 years of experience to manage heavy duty commercial vehicle sales in Sub-Saharan Africa region. 

  • Manage all sales & marketing activities in the Sub-Saharan Africa region in accordance with the sales strategy and plan in order to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Maintain visibility of dealership performance in order to proactively identify and address any shortcomings.
  • Assist management negotiations with dealerships as and when required to ensure best deals are finalized for the company.
  • Act as the point of contact for all dealership related matters such as placing orders, processing orders, shipments, follow ups, delays, queries, etc. and provide the necessary pre & post-sales support.
  • Coordinate with the dealerships to identify and facilitate the product and sales training requirements in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
  • Work closely with the dealerships to ensure payments are made as per contractual terms, and delays/conflicts are identified and addressed in an amicable manner.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with dealers and customers in the region to strengthen sales base.
  • Participate in the market and feasibility studies to work out the commercial viability to operate in the existing sales territories and to expand into new sales territories.
  • Use the results of the studies to propose suitable pricing for the respective market and support in making commercially viable pricing decisions.
  • Act as the liaison for the factory and the dealerships for proper forecasting and prioritizing of production to ensure supply and demand expectations are realistically met.
  • Oversee the implementation of the marketing plan to ensure all marketing activities are optimally carried out to promote brand image and product range in the region.
