Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and passionate female/male  Art Teacher  with any nationalities to join our one of reputable school in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic background, a deep understanding of various art techniques and mediums, and the ability to inspire and cultivate students' creativity. This role involves delivering engaging art lessons, fostering a love for the arts, and encouraging students to express themselves through artistic endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Instruction:

    • Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
    • Teach a range of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital media, and more.
    • Use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, demonstrations, discussions, and art history lessons, to engage students and enhance learning.
    • Incorporate both traditional and contemporary art practices into the curriculum.
    • Adapt lessons to accommodate different skill levels and learning styles, ensuring all students have an opportunity to succeed.
  • Classroom Management:

    • Create and maintain a positive, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
    • Set clear expectations for student behavior and manage the classroom effectively.
    • Promote a collaborative atmosphere where students can share ideas, work together, and support each other’s artistic growth.
  • Student Support and Development:

    • Provide individualized attention to students, including extra help for those struggling or additional challenges for advanced learners.
    • Encourage self-expression and confidence through art, promoting students’ emotional and personal development.
    • Support students in developing their artistic portfolios for exhibitions, competitions, or college applications.
  • Curriculum Development and Enhancement:

    • Contribute to the development and improvement of the school’s art curriculum.
    • Stay up-to-date with new trends, techniques, and materials in the world of art education.
    • Integrate technology and multimedia resources (e.g., digital art tools, virtual galleries) into lessons to enhance students' learning experience.
  • Assessment and Reporting:

    • Assess students’ artwork and progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
    • Maintain accurate records of student performance and track individual progress.
    • Report students' progress to parents or guardians through meetings or written reports.
    • Prepare and grade assignments, projects, and exams as required.
  • Extracurricular Involvement:

    • Organize and participate in art-related extracurricular activities such as school exhibitions, art clubs, and student art showcases.
    • Coordinate or assist in organizing art shows or public displays of student work.
  • Professional Development:

    • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and artistic knowledge.
    • Stay informed about current trends in art education, new art materials, and instructional technology.
  • Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other faculty members, especially within the arts department, to coordinate interdisciplinary projects or art initiatives.
    • Foster a team-oriented approach to education by sharing ideas and best practices with colleagues.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or teaching certification is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of art history, theory, and various art techniques.
  • Experience:

    • Previous (1 to 3 years experience) teaching art, especially at the [middle school/high school] level, is preferred.
    • Experience with various mediums and artistic techniques, including traditional and digital art.
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong artistic skills and proficiency in a wide range of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital arts.
    • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback to students.
    • Ability to foster creativity and inspire students to explore their artistic potential.
    • Organizational skills to manage classroom activities and projects effectively.
    • Knowledge of art history and the ability to integrate it into lessons.
