Analyst - Cyber Security Engineering - UAE National
Support the performance of engineering activities required by the Security Operations Management Center, such as providing hardware and software solutions, maintaining the centers structural plans, managing multiple environments, and managing the security incident and events platform as needed by the department. In addition, contribute to supporting the development of pilot projects and modern technologies before publication as needed.
Functional responsibilities
Help develop and maintain digital security response and recovery methods and mechanisms for various incident and event classifications in line with the requirements of the Security Operations Management Center
Support in updating and updating the structural plans of the Security Operations Centre, ensuring compliance with leading practices and company requirements
Help equip the Security Operations Management Center with the tools and technologies required (hardware and software) to implement the best digital security operations
Support in implementing any technical update required by the Security Operations Management Centre to reduce any disruption of the security measures applied
Support the development of the required IT environments to be used by the digital security team and provide access to various environments in coordination with stakeholders at the AUTHORITY level
Help integrate and locale IT environments from different sources in the Security Operations Management Centre as needed
Perform the activities required to manage the comprehensive platform for managing security incidents and events used by the Security Operations Management Center
Contributing to the support of stakeholders at the authority and sector level in the development of pilot projects to be used in the living environment to ensure that they apply adequate security measures
Perform any duties or career activities appointed by the direct manager
Institutional responsibilities
Take responsibility in line with the departments governance, policies and procedures
Compliance with company risk management guidelines and quality management standards
Participation in the preparation of the required reports in accordance with the requirements of reporting internally within the Authority, and externally where applicable
Find and identify new ideas and opportunities to adopt innovative solutions or methods to meet challenges or enhance activities based on functional requirements
Identify and search for professional development opportunities to proactively improve the technical capabilities and skills related to the offices functional requirements
Requirements
Academic qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science, network security, INFORMATION technology, or any related area
Professional experience
Experience in digital security, network security and IT security, or any relevant area at least:
Years of experience for bachelors degree campaign: 0 to 2 years
