Job Description

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable who would be responsible in checking all invoices with purchase orders, controlling LPO’s and maintaining contracts file smoothly and effectively, and compliance with all policies.

 

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, and reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.
  • Appropriate documentation of invoices, receipts, etc are submitted, documented, and filed effectively.
  • Ensure that other internal expenses Reports are approved by the Director of Finance / Financial Controller and the General Manager.
  • Ensure payment of internal expense reports with relevant approval e.g. salary, reimbursement of visa expenses to the Government Relations Officer, cash advance, loan, leave the settlement, final settlement, etc.
  • Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the UAE Should have experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Proficient with MS Office application and knowledge in ERP would be added advantage.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders -inside and outside the company
