Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a global industrial machinery manufacturer and provider of process heating solutions in Dubai, UAE.Our client is looking to hire an experienced Accounting Manager who will be responsible for to managing, organizing, and fulfill all required outputs of the accounting department of the company .
- The basic function of the Accounts Manager is to manage, organize, and fulfill all required outputs of the accounting department
- The Accounts Manager is to manage all AP and AR of the company, including any additional personnel in the AP/AR area.
- The Accounts Manager is responsible for the accurate tracking of all financial data within the company accounting system.
- Responsible for performance of AP/AR personnel
- Responsible for entering accurate, up to date information into the corporate ERP system
- Responsible for maintaining the customer and vendor accounting contact, banking, and credit card information in the corporate ERP system
- Responsible for inter-company transactions between all the companies
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining accounting supplies as needed (checks, deposit slips, forms, etc.)
- Responsible for all bank account reconciliations between statements and ERP system.
- Responsible for maintaining business licenses and renewals
- Responsible for Sales Tax reporting and payment – Local and International.
- Manage all AP/AR for the company
- Provide financial reports for management as required.
- Reconcile all bank statements monthly
- Provide financial reports to the bank as required.
- Run payment journals for approval as required in payment cycle
- Print checks for signing as required.
- Track job costs accurately within the corporate accounting system.
- Troubleshoot accounting issues as reported by departments.
- Maintains the corporate ERP system with accurate up to date accounting information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited university
- 5+ years in an accounting position
- Well experienced in Bookkeeping, General Ledger management, familiarity with state and federal tax reporting, depreciation of assets, inter-company transactions
- Strong general accounting & Mathematical skills
- Ability to read and analyze financial statements reports, charts, and graphs
