Job Description: Accountant (CA Qualified)
Position: Accountant
Location: Dubai
Industry: Fashion Retail
Salary: AED 7,000 - 8,000
Experience: 6-7 years
Gender: Male
Nationality: Indian
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
o Prepare and maintain financial statements in compliance with industry standards.
o Oversee cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
2. Audit and Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and standards.
o Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
3. Accounts Payable/Receivable:
o Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
o Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
4. Taxation:
o Handle VAT filings, reconciliations, and ensure adherence to tax laws.
o Provide support for any tax audits or inquiries.
5. Reporting:
o Develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
o Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
6. Inventory and Cost Control:
o Monitor inventory accounting and reconciliation processes.
o Implement strategies for cost optimization and waste reduction.
7. Team Collaboration:
o Liaise with cross-functional teams, including procurement and sales, to streamline operations.
o Provide mentorship and support to junior accounting staff.
Key Requirements:
• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 6-7 years in accounting, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE taxation laws and financial regulations.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferences:
• Candidates with prior experience in the fashion retail industry will be given priority.
• Must demonstrate a track record of financial integrity and strategic problem-solving.
