Job Description

Client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Officer with 2–5 years of experience in accounts payable and ERP configuration and implementation. The role involves managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, handling vendor payments, and assisting in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor due payments and ensure compliance with financial policies and contract terms.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

ERP Configuration & Implementation:

Assist in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of ERP systems for financial operations.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate ERP modules and automate financial workflows.
Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving ERP-related issues.
Train finance staff on ERP functionalities and ensure best practices in system usage.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Prepare financial reports and statements as required by management.
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in accounts payable and ERP systems implementation.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
Experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
